ASMI - American Sports Medicine Institute - will be taking each pitcher through a BIOMECHANICAL EVALUATION. The have thousands of pitchers including a number of Cy Young Award Winners in order to compare your data to the pros!
The PITCH FX SYSTEM will allow us to evaluate MOVEMENT, VELOCITY, and SPIN RATE. This system not only allows us to correct form so that we can increase velocity, but it also assured us of changes that need to be made to keep us healthy and reduce the chance of injury!
The high speed motion capture video system will give each pitcher a view from four different angles including a front, side, top, and rear view. The cameras each shoot at 500 frames per second!
The Full Body Movement Analysis will take each athlete through different movements which will allow us to better understand what corrections the athlete needs to make in the weight room in order to be able to make the proper corrections on the mound!
We have a pitching coach on staff that will be there from the analysis and biomechanics evaluation, and he will tie everything together so that when you leave the camp you will have the TOOLS necessary to make the proper adjustments on the mound!
On the final day, along with the biomechanical data and the pitching cues and corrections, each athlete will go home with a 30 DAY STRENGTH PROGRAM which will be individualized in order to make the changes so you can MAXIMIZE YOUR POTENTIAL on the mound!
