We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Associate Head Performance Coach. As a Performance Coach at Tinsley Performance, you will play a pivotal role in training a diverse range of athletes, spanning from professional to youth levels. The ideal candidate should excel in evaluating, cueing, training, programming, coaching, and effectively communicating with athletes from various sports backgrounds.
· Willingness to work in a faith-forward environment that seeks to make a lasting impact on our athletes on and off the field of play.
· Work with athletes at different skill levels, including high-caliber professionals, collegiate, high school, middle school, youth athletes, and those returning from injury.
· Perform movement assessments on athletes of all ages and skill levels
· Program, design, and implement a complete high level strength and conditioning program.
· Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve, act quickly on your feet, and efficiently resolve issues to ensure a smooth training environment.
· Proactively anticipate and address potential challenges, demonstrating the ability to forecast future problems and implement preemptive solutions.
· Plan and organize training schedules, both short-term and long-term, to align with upcoming events, competitions, and seasons, optimizing opportunities for athlete growth and success.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the strength and conditioning field, continuously expanding knowledge to provide athletes with the best training, coaching, and education possible.
· Foster an outgoing and positive environment, encouraging a culture of learning and development within the team.
Willingness to work on-site at Tinsley Performance as well as be the face of the company and keep our heartbeat off-site at the local high schools and colleges we train.
· Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience working with athletes at various levels, with a focus on performance coaching.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to connect and engage with athletes from diverse backgrounds.
· Quick decision-making abilities and adaptability in dynamic training situations.
· Excellent organizational skills to plan and execute training programs over different time frames.
· Eagerness to stay informed about the latest developments in the strength and conditioning field.
