Home grown in Tuscaloosa, AL, it was a dream come true to play baseball at The University of Alabama! I was blessed enough to be a 2-year letter winner at Bama, then I stayed at the capstone for 3 more years as an assistant strength coach. It was then, that I was able to obtain my master degree in Human Performance, get certified by both "gold standards" in S&C, and work with every sport at Alabama in the area of strength training.

After my tenure at Alabama, I worked as a strength coach with the Atlanta Braves for two seasons. The second year I worked my way into a Strength and Conditioning Coordinator role with the Bravos.

I then landed a job at Champion Sports Medicine here in Birmingham, AL, as the Director of Athletic Performance where I stayed for 5+ years. I developed relationships with some of the best therapists in the country, and world renowned doctors at Andrews Sports Medicine Clinic. 

Jared was born and raised in Pinson, Alabama. He was a 2 sport athlete at Pinson Valley High School and graduated in 2013 after playing football and baseball during his 4 years. Jared loves spending down time hunting deer, turkey, and bear in Kentucky;  hanging with friends, and his girlfriend Rachel.

After high school, Jared went on to play college baseball at Calhoun Community College where he was a catcher for the War Hawks! After his baseball career, Jared went on to finish his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his last two semesters he interned with Tinsley Performance, and we couldn't afford to see him go! So after a one year internship, Jared became the first full-time employee at Tinsley Performance in the Spring of 2019.

Thomas was born and raised in Pelham, Alabama where he was a standout pitcher for the Pelham Panthers and continued his athletic and academic career at the collegiate level.

After high school, Thomas went on to play for UAB where he finished top five in all 5 major pitching categories. (Strikeouts, ERA, appearances, saves, and WINS). Thomas was picked up by the Houston Astros as an un-drafted free agent in 2017. 

After his playing career, Thomas went on to work with Lawson State Community College as an Assistant Coach. In 2020 he moved on to Jacksonville State where he was a volunteer assistant for the Gamecocks and started diving into the metrics of pitching mechanics during his stint as their bullpen coach.

Then he landed the volunteer assistant coaching job at UAB where he served as the catching and bullpen coach for the Blazers in 2021.  Lowery went back to Lawson State as the pitching coach for the Cougars and landed the HEAD COACH Position the following year. 

**   During his time as Pitching Director and Head Coach for Lawson State Community College, he saw 15 athletes develop into 4 year players at the next level, broke school records for WINS, BATTING AVERAGE, HOME RUNS, DOUBLES, STOLEN BASES, AND CONFERENCE WINS!   **

We are so excited to have Coach Thomas Lowery on our team here at Tinsley Performance and can't wait to see the pitching side of our athlete development explode with him at the lead!

Grant lived in the northwest suburbs of Chicago his entire life. After spending two years at school in Eastern Tennessee, he knew that he eventually wanted to move south! During his downtime, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and friends, good food, hiking, reading, watching collegiate baseball (better than MLB!) and finding creative ways to train. 

After high school, Grant decided it was in his best interest to take the junior college route. He spent his freshman season at Waubonsee Community College where Grant was named 2nd team All-Conference in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference. Due to some coaching changes, he transferred to Oakton Community College during the Covid shortened season. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology while also continuing his last two years of college baseball at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. Grant's junior season he was awarded Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the week. A historic run during his senior season put the team two wins away from the NAIA world series for the first time in Bryan College baseball history.
